Sensory Friendly Tuesday

September 5 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every month that begins at 3:00 pm on day First of the month, repeating until December 5, 2023

Through our Sensory Friendly Tuesdays program we’re able to offer people a calmer museum experience, dimmed lighting and quieter exhibits. Come enjoy the Mascot Hall of Fame in a comfortable, low-sensory environment. This limited-occupancy session is designed specifically for people with sensory processing differences and Autism Spectrum Disorders, and their families. Our sensory-friendly days also include a trained* and caring staff to ensure each guest has a safe, fun-filled visit.

We believe in creating magical moments for all, and that’s why we’re thrilled to offer an inclusive experience where individuals of all ages and sensory sensitivities can fully engage in the wonders of the Mascot Hall of Fame.

🧠 What to Expect:

✨ Reduced Crowds: Enjoy a more relaxed and peaceful environment with limited attendance, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free visit.

✨ Sensory Break Zones: We’ve created quiet spaces where you can take a break if things get overwhelming.

✨ Dimmed Lighting and Lowered Volume: Our exhibits will be adjusted to accommodate sensory sensitivities, providing a gentle and soothing atmosphere.

✨ Hands-On Fun: Engage in interactive activities designed to stimulate creativity, while respecting individual preferences.

At the Mascot Hall of Fame, we’re committed to providing a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone. Join us for Sensory-Friendly Day and discover the magic of mascots in a way that suits your unique preferences. Let’s celebrate diversity and share smiles together!

The museum will be open from 3-5PM on the first Tuesday of the month.

All tickets are 25% off regular admission! Discount will be applied at checkout. Tickets purchased can only be used during designated sensory friendly times.
