KC the Stratotanker soared into Avista Stadium on July 22, 2022, in support of the Operation Fly Together campaign. This historic collaboration between Fairchild Air Force Base and the baseball team was designed to celebrate the KC-135 tanker, build pride for the base’s critical functions, and help better the lives of veterans from all services that have settled in the Spokane region. KC proudly visits local veteran non-profits, community fundraisers, and makes annual trips to the Spokane VA Hospital to bring some fun and joy to those who have served.
