Profile
Cocky has the résumé of a mascot legend. He brought home his first UCA Mascot National Championship in 1986, returned to the top again in 1994, then kept adding to his legacy with the kind of consistency most mascots can only dream about. In 2004, fans powered him to victory in the Capital One Mascot Challenge, and in 2008 he claimed another national title by winning the NCA Mascot Competition in Daytona Beach. By 2019, when Sports Illustrated named Cocky one of the 10 greatest mascots in college football history, the honor felt less like a surprise and more like a confirmation of what fans already knew.
