Profile
FIN the Whale brings huge personality to the Vancouver Canucks and has become one of the most recognizable mascots in hockey. As the team’s official mascot, FIN delivers the kind of big-energy, crowd-pleasing presence that fits both the NHL stage and the Canucks’ West Coast identity. He is playful, loud, wildly expressive, and exactly the kind of mascot fans remember, whether he is working the crowd at Rogers Arena or making an appearance out in the community.
What makes FIN stand out is how naturally he fits the franchise. As an orca, he reflects both the Canucks’ visual identity and the Pacific Northwest setting that helped shape the team’s look and feel. FIN is more than a mascot dropped into the action — he feels like a true extension of the brand, bringing Vancouver flavor, game-night excitement, and a fun streak that keeps fans of all ages engaged. He is known for his entertaining antics, strong crowd interaction, and larger-than-life presence every time he hits the arena floor.
Over the years, FIN has grown into a beloved public face of the Canucks, representing the team with humor, spirit, and nonstop energy. He is the kind of mascot who can fire up a packed building, get laughs without saying a word, and help turn an ordinary game into a bigger event.
